Family Carol Service
What a great service with so much happening.
It all started with Helen from Diabetes UK Watton and District Support Group presenting a cheque for the Church Building fund. The group wanted to thank the church for its support during 2011.
The Children were fabulous during the service and the puppet presentation explained how the Angel Gabriel told Mary the news that she was pregnant, with baby Jesus. Not an easy task.
The children sang their songs and listened to the nativity story before being presented with a present from the church. This was followed by Mike Dixon, District Commissioner for South West Norfolk Scouting, who presented Tasha with the Scout Association Certificate of Registration. Watton Church Scout Group came into being, they will start a Beaver Colony in January 2012.
Once again at the family carol service we guaranteed snow and no one was disappointed.
