Family Fun Day

Family Fun Day with Gary Rucci 2011. The Fun Day started with rain which was not in the plan with so many outdoor events. However what a change after the church service the sun came out and the day carried on unhindered. Over 130 people attended from 6 churches.

Gary brought a significant word from God to the meeting that blessed everyone. Gary Spoke about leaving a legacy and asked the questions. Who will be at your funeral? What will they remember you for? What are you leaving for future generations?

Lunch was excellent and Graham made the games great fun although there is still some controversy over who actually won the rounder's. Still there is always next time.

Final Moments was that opportunity to thank everyone, especially the centre staff who served us so well throughout the day. The winners of the quiz, Treasure hunt, Tug-o-war and rounder's also received their prizes but in the true spirit of the day even the prizes were shared.

Comments from the day included

"Just to say a huge Thank You"
"it was a joy to see so many happy smiling faces"
"Brilliant and Well done"
"When is the next one"

The offering came to £270.09 and in keeping with the message of leaving a legacy the money is to be sent to Pastor Solomon Gnanaraj who has just purchased a plot of land and is seeking to build a church.
