WELCOME TO OUR SUNDAY EVENING SERVICE

coffee, cake and conversation Sunday Evenings 6.30 pm

The Sunday evening service at Watton Pentecostal church is informal and relaxed time where everyone is welcome although there is no provision for children during the service.

The service is approximately an hour long and gives an opportunity for people to get to know one another and also to be encouraged in the faith.

The evening services are a time to enjoy being in the presence of the God who loves us.

The program is very varied and will normally follow the one of the patterns seen below:

COFFEE CAKE AND CONVERSATION is where people sit in relaxed cafe style surroundings where they drink coffee (tea and cold drinks), eat cake and talk to each other. Then during the evening a guest will tell everyone their own story of faith. It is reminiscence of the old agape (love) feats that the early church once enjoyed.

PRAYER CONCERT is an opportunity to draw closer to God, through prayerful worship. Imagine an orchestra where each instrument plays in complete harmony following the conductor. The prayer concert gives the congregation the opportunity to become that orchestra with the Holy Spirit conducting and leading the concert.

WORSHIP CONCERT is a joyous evening of praise and worship where you can give your sacrifice of praise to God or you can just sit and listen to the musicians.

There are often other types of services as well, to find out what's on read the latest news
